The Open Source Discovery Point showcases open-source components developed within the IPCEI-CIS ecosystem. This tool provides visibility into OSS components functionalities, repositories, licences, and architecture domains across participating initiatives, supporting interoperability, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the European cloud-edge ecosystem.

Key Management System developed in Rust, that provides key lifecycle management, high-performance encryption and signature oracles, and public key management.

The component includes a suite of energy- resource- and data-efficient neural networks for audio/speech processing. The networks are designed to be cloud-edge native. Being flexible in their computational compute they can be deployed in a variety of nodes and can adjust to the operational conditions and available resources.

The component is under development as the project ends in 2029.

Prototype implementation showcasing the real-world use cases

Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities demonstrate the practical viability of tools and solutions in the European cloud-edge ecosystem. They validate interoperability, collaboration, and real-world deployment across federated environments and multiple providers, ensuring that solutions are feasible, scalable, and effective across diverse domains and use cases. PoCs provide tangible evidence of cross-provider integration, operational reliability, and innovative functionality before broader adoption.

Framework for governing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across federated ecosystems.
Instead of static, text-heavy documents, FACIS promotes machine-readable SLAs that can be enforced and monitored automatically.
This ensures quality of service, reliability, and compliance across multiple providers and borders.
It also reduces operational complexity by enabling automated SLA negotiation, violation detection, and adaptation in real time.

Standardized Blueprints for building federated services to connect different companies securely.

Streamlined orchestration workspace simplifies the kubernetes deployment for federation services.

Core Orchestration Engine- Manages federated service flows and monitors performance.

Digital Contracting Service (DCS) is an open-source solution integrated with the EU Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet, enabling legally valid digital signatures for secure, cross-border collaboration across Europe’s cloud ecosystem.
