This 3-hour workshop, organised under the CISERO project, brings together key stakeholders from across Europe’s cloud and edge computing landscape to present and align strategic roadmaps supporting Europe’s digital sovereignty, industrial innovation, and data-driven future. With a specific focus on synergy creation, this session explores the intersections between CISERO, NexusForum, and the European Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge and Cloud’s thematic roadmaps. The event will feature roadmap presentations, interactive discussions, and industry voices, offering a platform for stakeholders to reflect on shared challenges, explore opportunities for alignment, and identify potential areas for joint action.

Purpose of the Event

The goal of this session is to encourage dialogue and coordination across European initiatives that are helping to define and shape the technological priorities and policy frameworks for the next generation of cloud and edge infrastructure. By showcasing CISERO’s preliminary insights, strategic focus areas, and identified market needs, the workshop supports the development of a federated, more aligned and open European cloud ecosystem—one that is trustworthy, energy-efficient, and inclusive of SMEs and industry players alike. This workshop also builds on the European Commission’s broader digital and industrial policy goals, in particular those of the Digital Decade and the European Data Strategy, as well as synergies with IPCEI-CIS activities.

Why attend?

Participants will:

  • Gain first-hand insights into the strategic roadmaps that are shaping Europe’s industrial cloud and edge future
  • Discover key areas of alignment and divergence among major EU initiatives
  • Contribute your voice to discussions on shared priorities and collaboration opportunities
  • Connect with stakeholders across the European Alliance and IPCEI-CIS ecosystem
