CISERO at METROMEET 2026 in Bilbao
CISERO took part in METROMEET 2026, the 22nd International Conference on Industrial Dimensional Metrology, held on 1 and 2 October at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao, Spain. The conference was organised by CISERO partner Innovalia Association under the motto “Where Metrology Powers Smart Manufacturing”. It brought together international experts on artificial intelligence, digital twins, smart quality control, optical measurement and new inspection technologies.
Katia Lavín of Innovalia Association represented CISERO at the event. She brought CISERO materials and answers question of the metrology and manufacturing community presenting CISERO platform as a way to explore cloud, edge and IoT technologies, products and innovations related to IPCEI-CIS. As inspection moves onto the production line, quality data is increasingly generated at the edge and processed in the cloud. This makes industrial metrology a natural meeting point with Europe’s cloud-edge continuum. The event also helped CISERO extend its community to the industrial users who will shape demand for these technologies.
